Problems TAGGED

Living in delhi touches so many aspects of life and there is so much stuff around to comment upon that it keeps most of the delhites busy and away from actually doing anything about them. Take garbage for example, everyone will hv municipality or govt or d next neighbour to curse for spreading so called gand (garbage) around, though it is rare to find someone actually throwing it at d right place demselves.

Water, now thr is so much scarcity tat all papers n news channel say dat next world war will be on water demand, delhi for example gets water so clean sometimes tat we sometime think tat by mistake they hv sent sewerage water to homes, still when it comes properly, you will find most of the pani ki tankis overflowing and motors running wildly.

Chalo lets take traffic also, junta gives hazzzzar galiyan to govt for not maintaining good road conditions, traffic police not present at busier sites and collecting 2 number ka challan at places where traffic seems to be in control, construction going on at d peak traffic times creating kms of jams and is right also, but on d odr side, thr is hardly anyone following traffic rules, NO ONE stays behind the pedetrian crossings at red lights, most of d ppl dont hesitate in covering d odr half of road meant for d odr side of traffic to move in order to reach early, there is no sense of parking.

Pollution, ummm…this at least no one has control over right! of course, there is nothing we can do with this. Of course no one blows horn whenever there is red light or in jams or near hospitals, so no sound pollution at all. Of course if there are 3 friends going to same place, they wont take different cars or bikes, they always share. Of course if there is a place very near to home, we prefer to walk over taking our car/bike out, and most of us do regular pollution control check of our vehicles. So, we are very sure that there is something wrong somewhere else and there is nothing we can do about it. We almost have zero carbon footprint. Easier said than done!

Population shouldnt be a problem, India will easily overtake China in coming few years, thanks to wonderful reforms by government unlike China where there is 1 kid policy, Indian govt feels proud in having no policy for even 2 children per family (probbly it wants to be number 1 in at least sometinggg!)…and aha..what can we do about it han..! we dont have 10s of kids doing circus…and we are educated as well, but yeah why should we care if everyone around is educated or not, we are not affected by it, let them produce as many kids they want, education is not meant to spread around, is it? its better kept to ourselves, there is no need for us to educate even a single person in turn giving rise to an amzing improvement in people’s lives and general awareness level. Leave it, this is not our cup of tea.

We are happy in our lives, happy with the problems and more than happy commenting on them than actually doing something for a change.

Dhan ten den…!! Aja Aja Delhi Nichoden…!!
